Day 166 - Eat a yummy salad....

Wondering if coleslaw can be substituted for salad?  Sorry for posting so late, I got up early but decided to work on tax returns before going to work.  How was everyone's day?  I had a very busy day at work and we had our Meet and Greet.  I managed to hold it together as far as the food but blew it with a drink.

Breakfast
1 pkg instant oatmeal (120 calories)
1/2 cup 1% milk (40 calories)
1 mandarin orange fruit cup (60 calories)

Lunch
1 piece of chicken/cheese pizza (160 calories)
califlower and cucumber pieces with 1 tablespoon dip (75 calories)
fresh strawberries, blackberries and raspberries (60 calories)
1 can non-diet green tea gingerale (I'm not sure of the calorie content and I forgot to read the can)

Dinner
1/3 pkg Stouffer's Shrimp Alfredo Saute Sensations (200 calories)
6 oz coleslaw (120 calories)
1/2 cup diet jello w/cool whip topping (25 calories)

I just read an article on MSN that was about a lady that weighs 600 pounds and wants to go to 1000.  Says she doesn't have any health problems other than she uses a scooter to get around.  I've got news for her, she has more problems than she knows, maybe not physically, yet, but definitely mentally and I suggest she get some counceling real soon.  The other thing that bothered me was she said her husband likes her big and encourages her in this whole thing.  He also has some serious mental issues.  Sounds like a death wish to me.  We are struggling to get fit and lose weight and this person is doing everything she can to eat herself to death, how daft is that.

  1. I wouldn't worry about the drink, because you did so good with the food. Good Job!

  2. I wouldn't worry about the drink either, I doubt the calories were enough to blow your great looking day.

My post is finally up, sorry I'm late today. Busy day. Running around shopping all morning, getting Easter gifts, birthday gifts, party supplies (still have time but I hate waiting until the last minute) Then my son was home from school and he was using the computer. Then we went to my Nana's to cook her dinner, she's an amputee and can't cook for herself too well, plus she loves the company!

  3. I read that article the other day. It said she spends $750 a week on groceries and that she has a website where people pay to watch her eat which is how she affords stuff. I can't believe people would pay money to watch an overweight woman shove her face with fast food and junk.

I agree she has some serious issues and needs to seek mental help. I can't believe her boyfriend supports it either. I mean so what he likes big girls, she's already BIG! She already needs a scooter to get around, she's going to be one of those people who can't even get out of bed by the time she's done..It's sad, really sad! I especially feel for her daughter!

  4. Yeah, among other things- SELFISH comes to mind. Her daughter must be really low on her list of priorities.
