Good morning everyone, woohoo it is Friday!!! This is probably the hardest day of the week for me as I am usually totally exhausted from the week that all I want to do is order a pizza, crawl into my jammies and veg. But alas, that is no longer on my plan of changing my lifestyle. Oh well, sometimes you just gotta give up the old to have the new.
I have a topic of discussion for you all and would love your thoughts and suggestions. Monday evening is election night for my support group. Currently I am the leader and some of the members would like me to continue but I have some problem children so to speak. One lady is so insecure in herself that she constantly disrupts meetings by trying to be what she thinks is humorous. Others talk among themselves while I am trying to do a serious program. What are your thoughts? Should I run again or let it become someone else's problem?
Breakfast
4 oz yogurt
6 oz canned mandarin pieces, no juice
Lunch
5 oz salad w/1 tablespoon salad dressing
4 oz cottage cheese
8 oz clamato juice
I definitely say Take A Break!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it's stressing you out a little and that's the last thing you need! Someone else can deal with it for a while. You can always be leader again next time if you miss it... How often do you have these elections?
(If you really want to 'nip it in the bud', when they ask why you don't want to do it- tell them! Tell them "I feel like other people want a chance... a lot of times people aren't paying attention or talking while I am... and I think it's because they are ready for someone else to do it..." then maybe they will cut that out next time, if you DO decide to be leader again)
