Grrrrrrrrrrr.............

Weight: 275.8

SorryI haven't been around the past couple of days.  Thursday I upgraded our high speed internet connection and wouldn't you know it they messed up on their end so no internet.  But it is now back up and running so I have returned.

Been really busy the last couple of days, actually got some things done that I wanted to.  I think I spend a little too much time on the computer so the only time I accomplish anything is when it is done.  I really need to think about a little less computer and more around the house, especially with Christmas coming.

Thank you all for your messages of concern due to my low blood sugar levels.  I usually am prepared for them but this time I messed up.  Anyway, all is well now and I am back on track.  I have been doing my walking and trying to up my water intake well being careful to not overdo it.  I have a little bit to lose to weigh in tomorrow with a lose or at least a turtle.  We will see how that goes.

I'm gonna head off and read some blogs that I have missed over the past couple of days,  Will be back later to finish this post.

  1. I had missed the sugar-drop post, Tessa! I am glad all is well now. Like you said, it was a lesson learned, to never be caught short. I've been caught like that too (one time) - if you're like me, it won't happen again. These days, I am sure I always have Lance Peanut Butter Crackers handy.

Don't worry about spending less time on the computer. I think most of us will be tapering back, as we prepare for the holiday season. Things get back to normal into the New Year though. Just squeeze us in when you can, or at least post your updates, because ... well ... we care!

Any snow up your way yet? Or is autumn holding on?

  3. Hey you - I was getting ready to send out a search party - lol.

Glad you are taking it easy. Slow and steady will get you a long way, eh?

[And 30 mg of sodium for a steak um is awesome! Lunch meat and peanut butter are ridiculous, so I was happy to find that out. And I usually only eat 2 at a time, no cheese or anything. I just like 'em plain on white bread. :) Calories aren't too bad either. - Thanks for the concern, tho - you are so cute.]

  4. I'm glad to read that I am not the only one that thinks I am probably spending too much time on the computer. Especially since I should be busy sewing or knitting Christmas gifts.

It's always frustrating when you are trying to make something better (like the internet) and someone else messes it up for a bit. At least you are back up and running now! We once went 2 1/2 weeks with messed up cable/internet because none of the cable people could apparently figure out how to fix the problem. We finally gave up and switched to satellite t.v. and DSL.

  5. Ugh, I know what you mean about spending to much time on the computer. I was on it WAY to much before, but now that I am back from my 2 weeks of NO computer time... I just can't keep up! I am trying to fully catch up with my blog roll, but I think I am going to have to cut back on the ones I read daily :(
Of course yours will still be one of my daily reads :)

So glad you are feeling better! Take Care Tessa.
    Hugs!

  6. Internet is acting up again so will try to answer your comments before I get slammed out again.
@ Ann - I think I learnt my lesson regarding not being prepared for the sugar lows. I am now 100% sugar low proofed. I'll get in as often as I can and nope no snow yet, a few rain sprinkles today but still lovely autumn weather,

@ ANT - a turtle is where you weigh in exactly the same as you did the week before. I like your image though, cuz I do love those turtles.

@ Skippy - you make me laugh, a search party eh, any good looking guys in that posse'? Luv ya!!

@ Sally - yes, Christmas is fast approaching, I know I am glad that our Thanksgiving is the being of Oct, don't think I could handle two major holidays back to back.

@ Tina - gonna try and post daily providing my internet service allows it, sometimes things get really neglected around here because I spend too much time on the puter. We got some shelving for my office today and I had to move everything to the spare room so once they are up I will have two rooms to try and straighten up before the holidays. Looking forward to being able to use the serger I bought last year that has been buried under a pile of things that need sorting out. I really have to find some organizational skills. Glad you are back on line have really missed you.
