Doing the happy dance .....

Well I'm busting my buttons with pride.  I did up our monthly books for my TOPS group and for the first time in a long time I am loser of the month, down 6.2 pounds.  But not only that I also get special recognition for having a lose four weeks in a row.  Doing the happy dance here, what incentive to continue on.

Had a lousy start to the day, not only did I wake up at 3 a.m. and could not get back to sleep, when I finally did decide enough was enough, I got up decided to have breakfast........going downhill from here......

Breakfast
4 oz of yogurt (35)
1 small orange - which I could not eat because it was totally dried out inside
1 serving cereal - nope again, no milk

Left house in a really bad mood..........

Lunch
Smart Choice Seasame Chicken Dinner (270) - tasted like sawdust
1/2 cup canned mandarin oranges (70)

Went home and had to have a sleep, not able to even focus on making a decent meal.

Dinner
1 pkg instant noodles (120)
1 pineapple sherbert (100)

What a lousy day as far as food is concerned, rats, and I was doing so good.

I have been walking for at least 20 minutes each day so that is helping.

  1. Tess - that is some crap food [not bad for you, just bad tasting] I am so sorry - I know how it is when you want to eat and it just isn't there. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

    But, but BUT! THE TOPS ROCKS! You should be so proud of yourself - as are we! YAY - that is so awesome and a great loss.

  2. Congrats Loser of the week!!! That's gotta feel good :)
    You have been doing SO well with your food, don't let one day get you down. It really wasn't that bad... it could always be worse (for proof just go to mine LOL).
    Walking 20 minutes a day? That's great Tessa! I should make sure I do 20 per day to keep up with you :)

  4. Hi Tessa - I found you through Tina's post. Congratulations on being "Loser of the Month" !!! That is a wonderful accomplishment. I'm not sure what TOPS is, but I'm assuming it is a weight loss group? I'm a little behind you on the scale ride down, so it will be fun to follow your progress. I want to be where you are now! I want to start walking soon, but I can't handle this heat well, so I'm waiting for summer to loosen its grip a little bit. (Today will be just a degree or two below 100.) Keep up the good work! You are making steady progress! Great job!! I know it isn't easy ...
